Is the subsidy check really free?
Yes. There is no charge for the review or for our help comparing plans.
Could I qualify for a $0 premium plan?
Some people may qualify for a $0 monthly premium after tax credits. It depends on income, household size, age, and ZIP code. We’ll check during your appointment. Savings are not guaranteed.
What do I need to bring?
An estimate of your 2027 household income, everyone’s dates of birth, immigration documents if they apply, your current insurance card if you have one, and a list of doctors and prescriptions.
When is the deadline?
Open Enrollment for 2027 runs November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027. Enroll by December 15, 2026 for a January 1 start.
Does Florida have expanded Medicaid?
No. Florida has not expanded Medicaid. If your income is low, we’ll walk through what options may be available.
Can my immigration status change my savings in 2027?
Yes, it can. According to HealthCare.gov, starting January 1, 2027, the only noncitizens who qualify for Marketplace savings are lawful permanent residents (green card holders), Cuban or Haitian entrants, and COFA migrants. People with other lawful statuses, including TPS, may still buy a plan, but without tax credits. We do not give immigration advice.
